That is so beautiful I think I’m going to pack up my bags right now and move to Wyoming. Wow.

What a gorgeous scene! I envy your travels. Have you ever been to the Pacific Northwest states? You must come out!

We’ve actually never been to the Pacific Northwest. I expect we’ll be up that way late next year or the summer of 2013. We’re methodically making our way from East to West so that area of the country is going to be some of the last that we see. I’ve heard it’s great, so that is something we’re looking forward to.

My friend and I slept in the car near Devils Tower a couple of summers ago. We’d forgotten that all the lodging would be taken because of the Sturgis, SD rally. Even the campground at Devils Tower was full. Later, sleepily, we enjoyed the monument.

Funny. We had the “pleasure” of visiting during the Sturgis motorcycle rally as well. I recall seeing a local news segment titled “Sturgis by the Numbers.” At first I thought it would list attendance figures, sales, and the like. Nope. Instead it compared the number of deaths, arrests, etc. to those of the previous year. Nice.
