wow…if I did even half of that in my life time I would be lucky. Best of luck guys…looking forward to see your travel posts
One of the things I hope to accomplish with this site is to inspire folks to follow their dreams. I’m thinking hard about adding a “How To” section to give advice and offer encouragement to anyone who wants to follow a similar path. I definitely feel lucky, but it’s not all luck that got us to where we are. A lot of planning, sacrifice and hard work went in to the mix too – all stuff that can be replicated by others.
Thanks for coming by my blog. I do like Pittsburgh, and I know just where you’ve been at Mt. Washington. I’m so wanting to do what you’ve done, get the Winnebago and trade real estate taxes and mortgage payments for time on the road. I’m hoping that as I continue to publish novels, that the royalty payments will add up to enough to keep me in gas and food on the road, once the kids are a little older. We’re thinking of home schooling the youngest anyway because of her autism issues–what better to have the entire continent at hand as a learning lab? I’ll definitely stay tuned,
Hi Babs, writing is absolutely something you can do on the road. To supplement royalty income, you can probably do decently writing for legal industry publications. Just something to think about and something you can start working on now to help accelerate the transition you’re talking about.
Looks like quite the adventure – how exciting! Good luck to you two!
Thanks. We’re having a blast. I highly recommend it.
If your ever in Italy let me know and I’ll give you some good suggestions
